Gloria Mancilla
VioDemos PhD student. Master in Prevention, Urban Security and Criminology at Universidad Alberto Hurtado. Phd. student in Law at the same university.
Her doctoral research proposes to analyze the two systems of prosecution currently in place for human rights violations corresponding to two different periods: on the one hand, the prosecution of crimes committed by State agents in the period from 1973 to 1990, and on the other, the prosecution of crimes committed during the “social outbreak”. Both periods have extremely relevant historical differences, because while the first violations were committed under a civil-military dictatorship, the second were committed in democracy.
