Catalina Droppelmann

Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Cambridge. Executive Director and Research Director of the Center for the Study of Justice and Society (Centro de Estudios Justicia y Sociedad), Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Lecturer in Criminology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She is also Co-Director of the research project “Prison reaction in unpredictable contexts: How are diverse parties related to the penitentiary world articulated facing COVID threat?”.
Her research interests are criminal justice, social reinsertion, prisons and punishment, and juvenile delinquency.
